Stats NZ does not identify individuals or organisations in published statistics or research. We may release some information about businesses under the Data and Statistics Act 2022. 

Stats NZ provides the information collected in this survey to MPI. MPI may only use the data to produce statistics, or for research. The statistics or research helps to guide policy and enables government to assess changes in the agricultural sector. MPI must ensure individuals and organisations are not identified in published statistics or research. MPI may release some information about businesses if authorised by Stats NZ under the Data and Statistics Act 2022.
